A Blessed October: Gratitude & Fellowship

11
Oct

October has arrived, and with it, we have entered the last quarter of the year. It is a good moment to pause and give thanks for all that has taken place in our parish community so far, and to look ahead to the season of prayer, fellowshipand celebration that lies before us.

Dailight savings time changes, October national cultural celebrations, leading to the Thanksgiving season, end of year Christmas celebrations culminating in the end of year celebrations, are all round the corner and will soon be upon us. But these celebrations are also counter balanced by religious observances of lent, fasting and penance.

As the days grow shorter, I would like to thank everyone who gives so generously of their time, talents and prayers. Whether you serve at the altar, help with the music, prepare food, lend a hand behind the
scenes, organise and facilitate events, your service keeps our parish life strong and our Heavenly Father sees it.

Please keep an eye on the bulletin and message boards (Whats App) for upcoming events. As always our office remains open to assist with any questions, sacramental requests, or ways we can support you and your family.

Wishing you and your families a blessed October.
