As we journey through May, we have several opportunities to reflect on the many ways God’s love is expressed through people in our lives and communities. Mother’s Day reminds us of the nurturing love,
strength, and faith of mothers and mother figures who guide and shape us. During Nurses Week, we recognize and appreciate those who serve with compassion and dedication, offering care and comfort as a reflection of Christ’s healing ministry. Memorial Day calls us to pause and honor the courage and sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service to others.
These observances invite us to live with thankful hearts, to serve one another with humility, and to remember the true meaning of love expressed through sacrifice. May this month inspire us to embody these values in our daily lives.
