As we celebrate July 4 with family, friends, and cherished traditions, it is also a time to remember that the freedoms we enjoy today were hard won through the courage and selfless sacrifice of those who came before us. Independence Day is more than a celebration – it is an opportunity to reflect on the enduring values of liberty, unity, and service, while honoring those whose sacrifice and unwavering determination
helped secure and protect these freedoms for future generations.
We must respect, preserve, and be accountable for these freedoms by showing gratitude to God and to one another. By holding this precious gift of freedom close to our hearts and living in a manner worthy of it, we help ensure that it is safely and securely passed on to future generations.
May this month inspire us to embrace these values in our daily lives.
