Dear Parish Members,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our life is a gift from God. We should pay attention to how we can make this gift beneficial and meaningful to others. The life of Christ teaches us exactly this. Our strength should not be based merely on our talents, abilities, or accomplishments. Rather, what we need is love and a spirit of service. We are called to become people who, like the friends of the paralyzed man, bring our friends together into the presence of Jesus. In that moment, the paralyzed man and his friends become one community, united in faith, love, and concern.
Let us also become such people, people who bring others to Christ, walk with those who are struggling, and make our God-given lives a blessing to others. Let us not simply ask what we can receive from others, but how we can use what God has given us to lift up those who are hurting. May our lives become a channel through which others experience the love, healing, and grace of Christ
