The ministries of St. Andrew’s Mar Thoma Church exist to nurture faith, build fellowship, and encourage active participation in the life and mission of the Church. Rooted in Scripture and guided by the Mar Thoma tradition, these ministries serve all age groups—children, youth, adults, and seniors—helping each person grow in Christ-centered living.
Together, they reflect the Church’s calling to worship God, grow in faith, serve others, and build a loving Christian community.
Sunday School
The Sunday School ministry is dedicated to guiding children to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. Through Bible-centered teaching, prayer, and fellowship, children are encouraged to grow in faith and apply God’s Word in their daily lives.
Beyond scripture learning, students are also introduced to the heritage, worship, and traditions of the Mar Thoma Church. With strong support from teachers and parents, Sunday School provides a nurturing foundation for lifelong Christian faith and values.
Yuvajana Sakhyam & Youth Fellowship
The Yuvajana Sakhyam and Youth Fellowship ministries are committed to helping young people grow in their faith and live as active disciples of Christ.
Rooted in the four pillars of worship, study, witness, and service, these ministries encourage youth to deepen their relationship with God while actively participating in church life. Through Bible studies, fellowship meetings, camps, discussions, and outreach activities, young members are equipped to live out their Christian calling in everyday life.
These ministries also provide opportunities for leadership, service, and community engagement, helping youth grow spiritually while building strong bonds of fellowship.
Choir Ministry
The Choir Ministry enriches worship by leading the congregation in hymns and liturgy, creating a prayerful and uplifting atmosphere during services. Through music, the choir helps preserve the Church’s rich tradition while deepening the congregation’s spiritual experience.
Meeting regularly for practice and worship preparation, the choir serves during Holy Communion, sacraments, and special services. Their dedication and unity strengthen the worship life of the Church.
All who have a love for singing are welcome to join this ministry and use their talents to glorify God.
Senior Fellowship
The Senior Fellowship brings together members aged 60 and above for prayer, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement. This ministry honors the wisdom and experience of senior members while keeping them actively engaged in the life of the Church.
Through gatherings, prayer, and reflection, members find encouragement and continued spiritual growth. The fellowship also provides opportunities to participate in diocesan and regional activities, strengthening bonds within the wider Church community.
Closing Reflection
Together, these ministries form the heartbeat of St. Andrew’s Mar Thoma Church—nurturing faith across generations and strengthening our shared mission to serve Christ and the community.
